"Roses...Just Because" Fund-Raiser Scheduled to Support Hospice

Avera Hospice Mitchell announces the launching of their annual hospice fund-raiser, "Roses...Just Because," sponsored by the Avera Queen of Peace Foundation.

Organizations participating in the fund-raiser include:

• Avera Hospice Mitchell
• Avera Hospice Parkston
• Avera Hospice Platte
• Avera Hospice Wessington Springs

Individuals may purchase a dozen long stemmed roses for only $20 and help support hospice at the same time. A selection of colors will again be available; however, we are unable to take orders for specific colors.

This is the 15th year the fund-raiser has been sponsored.

Last year, the event netted over $25,000 for the hospice programs in the communities of Mitchell, Platte, Parkston, and Wessington Springs combined.

All orders must be placed and prepaid by Friday, March 12. Roses will be available for pick up on April 5 and 6; sites and times will be announced at a later date.
